We also are committed to assisting our Clients with preparing and negotiating effective contracts which meet their business objectives, and in the management of those contracts with the eye toward avoiding disputes. We have drafted and negotiated hundred of contracts ranging from design services, architectural, engineering construction, professional services, logistics, global sourcing contracts, specific equipment procurement and consulting contracts, vendor agreements and master supply agreements. We ensure that the variety of contracts required on a particular transaction or project are properly coordinated to meet our Clients’ objectives, and to avoid inconsistencies, gaps, duplications and disputes. We work closely with our Clients so that the contracts we prepare include requirements which are unique to our Clients, such as insurance and risk considerations, lending and financing requirements, privacy and confidentiality, intellectual property rights, and security concerns.
Standardized Contracts Development
We have demonstrated experience and success with preparing template contract forms, along with standards and protocols for the use of such forms, for many of our Clients. Development of the standard forms tailored to our Clients’ needs has reduced the cost and time associated with the contracting process, the dependency on outside counsel, and risk of disputes for our Clients.
Project Counsel

Many of the construction and other contracts we prepare for our Clients involve performance and contracting relationships which can span over years. During the course of contract performance, we assist our Clients with the effective management of those contracts, including the review, preparation and analysis of Change Orders, Additional Services Requests, Purchase Orders, and other Amendments to those contracts.

We assist our Clients with the preparation of policies and protocols to assist in the effective preparation, negotiation and management of their contracts, with the goal of mitigating the risks with contract performance and disputes.

We have conducted numerous in-house educational seminars and instructional materials to assist our Clients, covering topics including effectively preparing and negotiating contracts, to project management techniques to resolve and reduce the risks of contract disputes.
Claims
When disputes do arise, we work with our Clients to objectively review and advise our Clients as to the merits of the claims, and to find cost-effective solutions to those disputes without the need for protracted, expensive litigation or arbitration.
Dispute Resolution
Our founder, Lizz Patrick, has experience in mediation, arbitration and other forms of alternative resolutions methods for dispute resolution. Ms. Patrick is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s Roster of Neutrals, and is available to serve a mediator or arbitrator for matters which do not involve our Clients.
