Atlanta-based firm to specialize in Construction Law and Project Counsel
Atlanta, Georgia (December 8, 2006) - Atlanta attorney A. Elizabeth (“Lizz”) Patrick announced today the formal opening of the new law firm, Patrick Law Group, LLC. The new Firm provides comprehensive legal services and business consulting to owners, developers, contractors, and other businesses involved in the planning, management, and delivery of complex construction projects.
Lizz Patrick, the founder of Patrick Law Group, has over 18 years of experience assisting owners, developers, construction companies, and others with planning and managing complex development and construction projects. She has prepared and negotiated hundreds of design, procurement, construction and project management contracts for a wide variety of national and international projects. “We take a comprehensive approach to projects and risk management. We assist our Clients with evaluating and selecting the right project delivery options, and then prepare and negotiate contracts which protect the interests of our Clients” said Ms. Patrick.
Prior to starting Patrick Law Group, Ms. Patrick was a partner in the Real Estate and Construction Groups at two Am Law 100 Law Firms located in Atlanta, Georgia, and, at one of those firms, she served as the Practice Group Leader for the Construction Practice Group. Ms. Patrick is a frequent speaker and publisher on construction and project delivery topics. She has been named in the International Who’s Who of top Construction Lawyers in the world and is past President of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Construction Law Section.
